Paige Shelton is an American author of cozy mystery novels. She writes the Farmer’s Market Mysteries and Country Cooking School Mysteries series. Paige grew up moving around a lot. With a football coach for a father, they mostly moved throughout the Midwest, but spent a year living in a haunted house in New Mexico. Ever since then, Paige has loved the Southwestern U.S. She was able to stay in one place long enough to go to high school and university in Des Moines, Iowa, attending Drake University studying journalism. Lauren graduated from Amherst College and earned her MFA in fiction from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Brian Freemantle is an English author of spy thriller novels. He is the author of the Charlie Muffin series. Before becoming a full-time novelist, Brian worked as a foreign correspondent and editor for newspapers such as the Daily Mail and the Daily Sketch. In April 1975, he organized an airlift rescue of South Vietnamese civilians during the Fall of Saigon, helping to evacuate 100 orphans. It was the only British-led airlift rescue.
