Christopher Paolini is an American author of young adult fantasy novels. His series is called the Inheritance Cycle. Christopher was home-schooled by his parents growing up. After graduation, he began writing. His break came when Carl Hiaasen‘s stepson read his novel Eragon and Hiaasen brought it to the publisher Knopf’s attention. Christopher considers several authors, including J.R.R. Tolkien, David Eddings, Anne McCaffrey, Ursula K. Le Guin and Frank Herbert to be some of the main influences to his writing. (more…)
