People have been outraged ever since it was announced that 5’7″ Tom Cruise will be playing 6’5″ Jack Reacher. Author Lee Child was asked about his opinion on the choice…

“Honestly, I’m incredibly thrilled and grateful that anyone has an opinion at all,” Child said. “Okay, he doesn’t look exactly right, but he sure does act like Reacher. People are acting as if we marched past vast legions of 6’5″, 250-pound actors. Nobody looks like that in Hollywood.” (more…)

“The Hunger Games” Now Officially a Film Quadrilogy

“Famous Five” TV Series in the Works?

Kindle Entertainment has signed an agreement with Hachette UK to create a TV series based on Enid Blyton‘s Famous Five series.

Kindle is going to be pitching the series to distributors in order to gain funding. The Famous Five series sells nearly one million books every year, even decades after the series has ended. (more…)
