Order of Carolyn G. Hart Books
Carolyn Gimpel Hart is an American author of cozy mystery novels, including her Death on Demand and Henrie O series. In 1964, Carolyn won a writing contest for a mystery novel targetted at teenage girls. She then wrote YA mysteries until 1972. For the next 15 years, she would write standalone suspense titles, as publishers weren’t interested in female-authored American mysteries (until Marcia Muller, Sara Paretsky and Sue Grafton broke the door open). Carolyn has won the Agatha Award (3x), Anthony Award (2x), Macavity Award (2x) and several others.
Carolyn Hart became a published author in 1964 with the novel The Secret of the Cellars, although she would not find commercial success until her Death On Demand series in 1987. Below is a list of Carolyn G. Hart’s books in order of when they were originally released:
