Growing up, Morgan wanted to be a princess, but not so much in the pampered, easy life sort of way… She wanted to wield a sword and save kingdoms and princes from dragons and wizards. That didn’t work out, so she became a writer instead. Aside from writing, Morgan enjoys photography, travel, reality TV and reading. She has been writing since she was 10, being honoured in a nationally published children’s magazine. She has both her B.A. in psychology and her M.A. in journalism, having worked for a Fortune 500 company at an executive level, before giving it all up to write full-time. Kathryn Shay is an author of contemporary romance novels. She writes the Bayview Heights, America’s Bravest, Hidden Cove Firefighters, O’Neil Brothers and Ludzecky Sisters series. Kathryn has been writing all of her life. Her first “romance” was written when she was 15 – it was a short story about a newspaper reporter trying to make her name in a male-dominated world. However, before she was able to realize her dream, she took the detour of teaching. Years later, she would give writing another go and ended up selling a manuscript to Harlequin Superromance. Despite her success as an author, Kathryn’s love for teaching never went away. She retired from teaching in 2004 – from the same school she started at.
