Order of Ernest Cline Books
Ernest Cline is an American author of science fiction novels and non-fiction books. He is also a spoken word artist and a screenwriter. In June 2010, Random House subsidiary Crown Publishing Group purchased the manuscript for his first novel, Ready Player One. The novel will be adapted to film by Warner Bros., with Steven Spielberg at the helm. His second novel, Armada is being made into a film by Universal Pictures. A self-professed “full-time geek,” Ernie lives in Austin, Texas with his family, a DeLorean that may be able to fly and a massive collection of retro video games. (more…)

Karen Swan is an English author of women’s fiction and romance novels. She began working in fashion jounralism, but gave her career up in order to be a mother to three children (and an ADHD puppy) as well as to pursue her dream of becoming an author. Welcome to May – and I have to say it was a disappointing reading month for me. Not sure why – some months I find I’m able to read 10+ books and just cram them in and other months I just struggle to find the time.
The month started off fine. I read The Blade Artist by Irvine Welsh. If you were a fan of Francis Begbie I’d recommend it. Really great book.
Then after reading Blake Crouch’s Wayward Pines series I wanted to read more by Blake Crouch. I ended up reading a standalone novel Abandon(it was okay) and the first novel in the Andrew Z. Thomas series, Desert Places. One of those books that are pretty rough but go at such a fast paced you can’t help but enjoy it. (more…)

Jordan Jacobs is an American author of children’s mystery and adventure novels. He writes the Samantha Sutton series. For as long as he can remember, Jordan has loved both archaeology and writing. Being interested in mummies, castles and Indiana Jones as a kid led to him participating in an excavation when he was 13 years old in the Sierra Nevada. Jordan would then complete an archaeology program in high school, following his passion to Stanford, Oxford and Cambridge. In total, his research has taken him to nearly 50 different countries. Aside from being an author, Jordan is Head of Cultural Policy at the Phoebe Hearst Museum of Anthropology at UC Berkeley. He lives in San Francisco with his wife and daughter. (more…)

Tara Sue Me is an American author of erotica novels. She writes the Submissive series. Tara wrote her first novel at age 12, but it would be another two decades before she would try again. After trying to write regular, clean romance novels, she got the idea to try something spicier. This would become The Submissive. What began as a writing exercise quickly took on a life of its own. An avid reader of all types of fiction, she soon discovered she enjoyed writing a variety as well. Tara lives in the Southeastern United States with her family, two dogs, and a cat. (more…)
Order of Hy Conrad Books
Hy Conrad is an author of mystery novels and non-fiction books. He was a writer on the TV series Monk for all eight seasons, getting co-executive producer credit for the final two and three Edgar nominations for Best TV Series. Conrad would later take over the Monk book series in 2013. In addition to his Monk-related work, he has also written hundreds of short stories, as well as a play titled Home Exchanged that premiered in Key West in 2012. Hy divides his time between Key West, Vermont and New York City. (more…)

Belinda Bauer is a British author of mystery and suspense novels. She writes the Jonas Holly/Exmoor Trilogy series. Belinda grew up in England and South Africa. She has worked as a journalist and a screenwriter. Belinda’s screenplay The Locker Room was awarded the Carl Foreman/BAFTA Award for Young British Screenwriters, which was presented to her by Sidney Poitier. Her short story Mysterious Ways about a girl stranded on a deserted island with thirty-thousand Bibles was runner-up in the Rhys Davies Short Story Competition. Belinda lives in Wales. (more…)

Jeff Crook is an American author of fantasy and mystery novels. He writes the Jackie Lyons mystery series. Jeff began his career contributing to fantasy series such as Dragonlance, AD&D and Forgotten Realms. When he isn’t writing, working, gardening or feeding the cat, Jeff may choose to socialize occasionally. He likes to eat and drink wine.
