He writes the Monster Island Trilogy, Laura Caxton/Vampire series, Cheyenne Clark/Werewolf series and Jim Chapel Missions series. He has also written fantasy novels as David Chandler. Wellington attended Syracuse University, earned his MFA in creative writing from Penn State, and also earned his Master’s degree in Library Science from Pratt Institute. Isabel Allende is a Chilean-American author and journalist. She is currently one of the most widely read Spanish-language authors in the world – if not the most. Isabel writes based on her own personal experiences, while adding in myth and realism woven together. She began her career working for the magazines Paula and Mampato. When Allende learned that her grandfather was gravely ill, she wrote him a letter for her own peace of mind; a letter that would evolve into her novel The House of the Spirits. Her style is considered magical realism, but also contains elements of other styles. The Communion series is a series of non-fiction books (often referred to as novels) by American author Whitley Strieber. The series is based on Strieber’s experiences with abductions by non-human beings knows as “visitors” (Strieber refuses to classify them as “aliens”). Whitley Strieber is an American author of horror, science fiction, fantasy and thriller novels and non-fiction books (largely on the paranormal topics). He writes the Communion series, which is based on his own experiences as an abductee by “visitors” (which he doesn’t conclude are necessarily aliens from outer space). Strieber graduated from the University of Texas at Austin and the London School of Film Technique, then began an advertising career that he gave up to begin writing. He is a frequent guest on the radio show Coast to Coast AM and hosts his own podcast called Dreamland – a radio show he took over from Art Bell. His books The Wolfen, The Hunger and Communion have all been made into films. Whitley lives in California with his wife (and sometimes collaborator) Anne. (more…)

The stories are about the war between humans and the race known as the Kzinti.
