Bond To Be Middle-Aged; Which Characters Will Appear in William Boyd’s Novel?

The next James Bond novel will see an aged version of the super-spy, who has a more realistic love life.

William Boyd intends to explore Bond as a human being with more realistic viewpoint.

“He is a middle-aged man, a middle-aged spy, and that’s one of the things that interests me,” Boyd said. The currently untitled novel is set in 1969 where James Bond will be 45 years old. (more…)
