April 2016 Newsletter
Happy April Everyone! I’m very sorry for the delay in this. I was traveling to Texas for Wrestlemania weekend and was just too busy to send it out.
I love to read during my travels and I read all three books in Blake Crouch’s Wayward Pines series. Holy crap did I enjoy those so much. Soon as I came home I immediately purchased the TV show and am watching all of that.
I enjoyed e-mailing back and forth with many of you in the last month. One thing I’ve noticed since I’ve started the newsletter is a lot of people saying they tried some books based on either my recommendation, or the newsletter mentioning them. (more…)

Carole Mortimer is an English author of contemporary and historical romance novels. She writes many different series, including the Dangerous Dukes and Alpha series. Carole grew up in the east of England. She wrote her first manuscript while she was working in a stationary company’s computer department. That manuscript was rejected, but the next (The Passionate Winter) would get published by Mills & Boon. She has been recognized by Queen Elizabeth II for her outstanding service to literature. Order of Lea Wait Books
Lea Wait (1946-2019) was an American author of historical fiction and mystery novels for adults and children. She wrote the Antique Print Mysteries and the Mainely Needlepoint Mysteries series. Lea grew up reading historical fiction, as well as attending antique auctions with her grandmother, so she’s always lived in the past in one way or another. While on the Maine coast, she dreamt of becoming a marine biologist, until she got interested in politics and wanted to become a politician. Regardless of whatever else she did, Lea always wanted to be a writer. She majored in drama and English at Chatham College in Pittsburgh and did her graduate work in American Civilization at New York University. In 1998, Lea decided to leave the corporate world behind in order to run an antique print business and write on a full-time basis, while living in Maine. (more…)
