Written by Jenny Brady on Thursday, July 19th, 2012In the “Say it ain’t so!” department, erotica publishers are now looking to literary classics such as Jane Austen‘s Pride and Prejudice and Jane Eyre by Charlotte Bronte as their next cash cows, in light of the wave of success of the Fifty Shades series.
Total E-Bound is 100% convinced that there is a market for more sexually explicit versions of the 19th century classics by Jane Austen and Charlotte Bronte, spicing the novels up for a new generation. (more…)
Mommy Porn or Baby Porn? Erotica Author Weighs in on “Fifty Shades”

James’ books have been dubbed “mommy porn.” Conran, like James, disagrees with this label, but for a very different reason. She says it’s more like “infantile baby porn.” She notes that there’s no real S&M until 400 pages in. (more…)

His series is the Kenzie/Gennaro series, but he is perhaps best known for having written the novels Mystic River and Shutter Island, which were made into motion pictures by Clint Eastwood and Martin Scorsese respectively. Ernest Hemingway (1899-1961) was an American author and one of the most influential authors of the 20th century. He lived a very adventurous life that is well-documented. He saw action in the First World War (being seriously wounded by mortar fire) and worked as a journalist in World War II. As a novelist, some of his most famous works include The Sun Also Rises, A Farewell to Arms, For Whom the Bell Tolls and The Old Man and the Sea. He survived two back-to-back plane crashes, which tragically led to Hemingway committing suicide in 1961 at the age of 61. (more…)
