Melissa F. Miller is an American author of legal thriller/crime fiction novels. She writes the Sasha McCandless series. Melissa has been writing since she’s been able to pick up a pencil. She owns an English degree from the University of Pennsylvania (with concentration in medieval lit and creative writing poetry). From there, Melissa worked as an editor and then went to law school, where she got her J.D. from Duquense Law School. She has been a practicing attorney since 1999 in Pittsburgh and Washington D.C. before starting her own law firm with her husband. He writes the Tyrant, Long War, Tom Swan and the Head of St. George and the Traitor Son Cycle series in addition to the Alan Craik series as Gordon Kent. He’s also written as Miles Christian. Christian earned his history degree from the University of Rochester. He served in the U.S. Navy for over a decade, including serving in the Gulf War.
