Stephanie Barron is an American novelist of mystery and thriller novels. She writes the Merry Folger series (as Francine Mathews) and the Being a Jane Austen Mysteries series. Stephanie majored in European History at Princeton, while working part-time for the Miami Herald and the San Jose Mercury News.
