Coming Soon: “Fifty Shades” Books in Hardcover Limited Editions

E.L. James started her Fifty Shades of Grey series in a unique way. It started out as fan fiction based on the series Twilight. From there, it was published by The Writers’ Coffee Shop. When the ground swell really got underway, the publishing rights were purchased by Random House and the books were released in trade paperback format worldwide.

However, there has yet to be a hardcover release of the series… That is, until now. Random House has announced that they will be coming out with limited edition hardcover editions of all three books in this extremely popular series. (more…)

The series started out as a radio broadcast on BBC Radio 4 in 1978, but was then adapted into a series of novels as well as a TV series, stage plays, comic books, a computer game and a 2005 movie. Douglas Adams (1952-2001) was an English writer of comedy, satire and science fiction. He is best known for his Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy trilogy (of five books). Adams was also very much into technology (he was the first person in Europe to purchase a Mac), an environmentalist and one of only two non-Pythons to get a writing credit on Monty Python’s Flying Circus.
