Ron Rash is an American author of Southern fiction novels, short stories and poetry. In addition to being an author, he is also the Parris Distinguished Professor in Appalachian Cultural Studies at Western Carolina University. His short stories have been featured in over 100 publications. He is the winner of the Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award – considered to be the most presitigious prize in short fiction. Robert M. Edsel is an American author of non-fiction books. He has written about artistic treasures and monuments that were saved in and around World War II. One of his books, The Monuments Men has been optioned for film by George Clooney (who will write, produce, direct and star in the film). Before becoming an author, Edsel was a nationally ranked tennis player and worked in the oil exploration industry. He is also the founder of the Monuments Men Foundation for the Preservation of Art. Jordan Belfort is an American author of non-fiction books. Belfort founded the brokerage firm Stratton Oakmont, during which time he partied hard and got addicted to drugs. He has reportedly been sober since 1998. In 1999, Belfort was indicted for securities fraud and money laundering and served 22 months in federal prison and ordered to pay $110 million in restitution.
