Kathy Lynn Emerson is an American novelist who writes historical mystery and romance novels (sometimes as Kaitlyn Gorton) and non-fiction books, as well as cozy mystery novels (as Kaitlyn Dunnett) and historical fiction (as Kate Emerson). She writes the Susanna, Lady Appleton, Liss MacCrimmon and Secrets of the Tudor Court series. Kathy has been writing ever since she wrote a newspaper for her dolls as a child. He was a favourite of Sir Alec Guinness (who never left home without a book of Trollope’s), multiple British Prime Ministers and contemporary American novelists Sue Grafton and Dominick Dunne.
