Order of Lois Duncan Books


Lois Duncan is an American novelist of young adult suspense, mystery novels and children’s books. She has written over 300 magazine articles for magazines such as Reader’s Digest, Good Housekeeping and Ladies’ Home Journal. Her novel I Know What You Did Last Summer was adapted into a film in 1997, although she was not pleased with the comedic spin taken on the film. Lois’ youngest daughter, Kaitlyn Arquette, was murdered, which Lois wrote about in her 1992 non-fiction book Who Killed My Daughter?. The murder remains unsolved. (more…)

J.K. Rowling Turns Down Space Travel

J.K. Rowling has revealed that she was offered to take a trip onto space on one of the first commercial shuttles, but turned it down.

The Casual Vacancy author explained how she was invited to go into space, but wasn’t too interested. “I was offered a seat. For a mere £2 million I could have been on the shuttle, but I turned it down.” (Of course that “mere £2 million” part was full of sarcasm.) (more…)
